I was lucky enough to find one video with three episodes of the Ray Bradbury theater in a Pawn shop in Cortez Colorado.
You might also look in your local or regional University Reserve/Media video collection to see if there are any copies of the Illustrated man, or the old Truffaut version of F-145, or the short film of the Veldt. You can usually find the Illustrated man in your local Video rental store, Rod Steiger does an exellent rendition as the main character. Something Wicked This Way Comes is pretty good. It is rumored that a Sound of Thunder is in production. Also F-145 has been tossed around. Maybe one more film also,
but the title escapes me at this time. If you like a good search maybe even some requests on E-bay could come up with a vintage book or video, some people don't value the same thing as others.

If you're a fan of the old time radio format, you can find Ray's work all over the internet for your listining pleasure, both free and for sale. Just look up old-time-radio and do a search for ray bradbury on the site you choose. More than likely you'll find something written by him, since he started in pulp fiction and old time radio writing. Good finds are shows called Bradbury 13 where they take his best shows and put them to radio drama. Really good stuff!!
This site talks about the shows available
Show Log
Or here's a show to download in mp3 or real audio:
The Martian Chronicals

This is the first time i see this series! It is wonderful! It is really scary! I did not expect they are SO scary! No matter that the effects and style are so old-looking. The director is talanted.

Hi Pavel,

I'm glad you are enjoying the series! Which episodes did you find scary? I think the earlier ones, like The Playground, The Crowd, and The Screaming Woman are among Ray's most effective scary stories. Later episodes of the series offer science fiction, fantasy and comedy episodes.

There are some very poor episodes in the series - Tyrannosaurus Rex springs to mind. Actually, most of the episodes filmed in France are a bit poor. The British and New Zealand episodes are quite good. Part of the fun of watching the series is trying to figure out where each episode was filmed. It's not always possible to tell.

bsaenz24, thanks for the info on the RB Theatre available through Amazon.com. I would also suggest checking with Best Buy. I bought my set from Best Buy for about $24.95, if I rememeber correctly.
