I've been seeking a book for many years. One I remember poring over at my local library as a child. It was bizarre and a little frightful, it had to do with an alien race, and their leader, I want to say his title was Rew Umber or something like that. It was a bit beyond my reading level at the time (it was maybe 3rd or 4th grade reading) so I kind of pondered it but couldn't get very far with it. It crossed my mind that sci-fi readers here might have a clue?
