Ah, yes I knew about this film, but didn't connect the two. Thanks, Linnl.

Ha! I found the same story this morning, albeit on a page with less pretty layout (http://www.vcstar.com/news/2012/apr/11/big-names-help-ventura-man-make-documentary-ray/?print=1).

2007. I was there. I rode with Michael to visit Ray back when this initial interview was done. I think John Anthony Miller went, too. I remember waiting out on the back porch with Hallie the cat with he was being interviewed, then going in and having my time with Ray. And now I see this. Isn't life interesting?

It sure is, as Stan Laurel might say.

While I wish Michael luck with this project, I've yet to see a documentary about Ray as good as the BBC one from 1980.

"This authorized film has secretly been in the making for three years."

Yes, anytime I have something I want to keep secret, I make a point of writing about it on this message board, and create a Facebook page for it...

Ahhhhaaahhhhhahahahahaha!

Oops, the secret's out. Ooops again: the video has been pulled by the user.

I don't know a lot about TV and movie stars, but I'd love to see the actor behind "Fat Tony" do a wonderful documentary.
