I am teaching a science Fiction/Ray Bradbury literature unit to my 7th grade English class and am desperately searching for any of Ray Bradbury's dramatized audio tapes or CD's. I am having a hard time locating them. Can anyone tell me where I might get my hands on these quickly?

There are these, and I believe some "X Minus One" episodes both on CD and available for downloading online: http://www.spaceagecity.com/bradbury/audio.htm

Take a look at my website (click on Audio) to see what exists, then hop over to www.amazon.com to see what's available.

Also, Books on Tape has these available: http://www.booksontape.com/search.cfm?qs=ray+bradbury&x=15&y=5

Your local or regional or cooperative school system library should also have numerous titles on hand. E-bay for Mr. Bradbury's works/items usually has various collections available, as well. These would include a bit of a wait, however, for transactions and shipping.

His works on tape are plentiful. (I was just in our school's library today and noticed unabridged versions of Illustrated Man, Dandelion Wine, Fahrenheit 451, and From The Dust Returned.)

Good luck. Sounds like a great class to teach!

Some more Bradbury audio online, courtesy of Zombie Astronaut:

(Scroll to the bottom of the page to access MP3s of "And the Moon Be Still as Bright" and "The Off Season". These are taken from the Omni Audio Experience.)
