Hello there! I'm a scholar at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland trying to find out who Robert G. Harris's copyright holder is. Does anybody know? I need to seek permission to reproduce one of his old magazine paintings in an academic journal. The painting in particular accompanies Bradbury's "These Things Happen" from the May 1951 issue of McCall's. Bradbury bought a lot of the magazine art illustrating his stories -- does anyone know if he bought this piece? Many thanks, Steve Gronert Ellerhoff πόλλ' οἶδ' ἀλώπηξ, ἀλλ' ἐχῖνος ἓν μέγα. - Archilochus

I don't have an answer for you, but here is a blog post reporting his death (in 2007). Perhaps the blogger or one of his readers will know the answer: http://illustrationart.blogspo...arris-1911-2007.html And there's another one here, which says he was a lifelong member of the Society of Illustrators - perhaps another possible information source: http://www.thepulp.net/yellowe...t-g-harris-has-died/ - Phil Deputy Moderator | Visit my Bradbury website: www.bradburymedia.co.uk | Listen to my Bradbury 100 podcast: https://tinyurl.com/bradbury100pod
