Im a fan of Bradbury and I am very happy to find this site, and reading over the posts, this looks like a great place to discuss Bradburys stories. I don't know how often you get this question, or if this topic has been posted before. If it has been could you point me in the direction where I could find it. But my questions are: what is the thesis (for lack of a better world) of the poem? What is he trying to say? And does this give us any insight into his faith? I'm not so sure but my own analysis of the poem is that he is a Christian and the poem deals with the fact that space travel will not change the relationship between God and Man. Even though there are other aliens that would have Christs of their own. Am I on base with this assessment or not? [This message has been edited by flyboya10 (edited 08-04-2004).] | |||
