Is Ray's title original? It has the ring of a Shakespeare sonnet, the tone of a Milton verse, the resonance of the Bible even (King James version of course).

A quick google search didn't turn up any quick answers, but you're right, the title is beautifully phrased. It is good enough to come from a classical writer; but Bradbury is good enough as a stylist, that it could very well be his own phraseology.

Jim! Mr Dark's been looking for you. Hiding 'neath the street like that!

RB is as good a writer than any who have come before (and better than most), so there's no reason to think he didn't come up with that.

Phraseology is a good word.

Buy you gotta know the territory!
