I read somewhere that Bradbury wrote a short story with a stylized Edgar Allan Poe as a character. Does anyone know what the title of this fiction is?

He's in "The Exiles", one of my favourites from "R Is For Rocket". ('though I know not what thou meanest by "stylized"...) [This message has been edited by Braling II (edited 07-08-2004).]

Perchance, Usher II from Martian Chronicles? By the way "Braling II," what a great monicker to use? One of RB's great irony of ironies!! [This message has been edited by fjpalumbo (edited 07-08-2004).] fpalumbo

I almost said "Usher II" myself, but dear Edgar is only laudably mentioned in that story. He "stars" in "Exiles". There's also a later story in which the main character goes back in time to encourage his favourite authors, Poe among them. How I'd love to do that! As to my soubriquet, it was going to be either that or Walter Gripp!
