I have a homework assignment on The Whole Town's Sleeping. We were to read the story and pick who went thought was the killer. I chose Francine. I have to write a 3-page paper on the symbols the author uses that lead me to believe she is the killer. I haven't been too good at finding many symbols besides the color white and a couple others. Any ideas? Thanks!

So Francine acted so scared to throw suspicion off herself? Good one!

Yeah I was thinking about that too. And she was jealous because she wasn't the "pretty one". I just don't have enough to write 3 pages and I'm stressed out! I don't know what my teacher was thinking or what I was thinking for choosing Francine!
