I am doing a survey about the nationalities of the members of this board and I need to know if they read B's works first in English or translated! I will start: I am Portuguese and the first story I read from B was in English. Let me know about you! Thanks Blue Bottle

Thank you dandelion, I had already been there but some of the members there who don't speak english as their mother language don't refer if their first contact with B was through the original texts or through translations, that is why I am asking. Because I would like to know if B's art is not lost in translation!

Funnily enough, Phil, so did I. But have you tried reading him in Gaelic or, even worse, Erse?
|
Apart from verse, there's nothing worse than a terse Erse curse! (Sorry- really tired right now...)
