Ray tells me that his play "The Autumn People" is opening on September 30th through the month of October at the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena. http://www.fremontcentretheatre.com/ "Live Forever!"

Doug, do you know whether this is a new play? (And, apart from Ray Bradbury, why do Americans not normally use the word 'Autumn' for 'Fall'?) - Phil Deputy Moderator | Visit my Bradbury website: www.bradburymedia.co.uk | Listen to my Bradbury 100 podcast: https://tinyurl.com/bradbury100pod

Phil, The Autumn/Fall choice may be regional. I recall hearing/saying both in the Pacific Northwest, but in California, it's usually "Fall". Like. Y'know? Now, for an ADJECTIVE, what choice would we have but "Autumnal"? "Fall-like"? And then ther's that great old standard, "Autumn Leaves", which I played only last Saturday! "Autumn In New York" is another great one.

No, this play has been around on and off for quite a while. Many Yankees do. It's about half and half. Autumn is a prettier word than Fall, although Fall is nice too. "Live Forever!"
