Turns out that the lecture held last week in Bradburyville in Second Life was the first of three, all by Dr. Loren Logsdon of Eureka College. This Sunday's lecture is on Dandelion Wine and starts at 6:00 pacific, 9:00 Eastern (US). Next Sunday's is the same time, and is about Fahrenheit 451. They will all be held in the theatre in Bradburyville in Second Life.
If board members would like to make the Oct. 19th lecture a group function, I would be happy to organize a special tour by Bradburyville's creators for the group, and also offer some Second Life instruction for those who are new to it.
I'm not a long-time member of this community, more of a visitor, but we are happy to share Bradburyville with those who have the most interest, and would consider you all honored guests. Who knows, maybe in the future one of you would like to do a lecture or discussion in Bville.

We would love it, I'm sure. Just tell us where to meet.

I would also love to go and listen to Loren Logsdon, but my time zone is way out of kilter. Someone should find a way (and the will) to record these events for later enjoyment!
Fortunately for me, and others who missed them, the Second Life lectures have been recorded and are archived at the Internet Archive. I haven't had time to listen yet, but there's a lot of material here:
