October, 2009, marks the fiftieth anniversary of Rod Serling's beloved fantasy television series, "The Twilight Zone," which premiered on October 2nd, 1959, over the CBS Television network. I was asked to write a retrospective of the landmark imaginative series both by the popular sci-fi web magazine, The Thunder Child, and by Film Music Review. Rather than write two separate articles, however, I've written one anniversary tribute to the program which is being published concurrently by both sites, each offering their own individual styles and perspectives. You can access each site by clicking onto the links found below. It is our hope that you'll rekindle some cherished memories of the finest fantasy/science fiction series in the history of television. http://thethunderchild.com/Tel...s/ElementofTime.html www.americanmusicpreservation....ilighZoneTribute.htm Cordially, Steve Vertlieb

I've posted a handful of photos from this event on my Facebook page. They're part of the same album that contains a couple of dozen photos from my recent TWILIGHT ZONE stage production and George Clayton Johnson's visit to our area: http://www.facebook.com/home.p...&id=537862986&ref=mf Terry Pace pillaroffire@bellsouth.net "God, here and there, makes madness a calling." -- Ray Bradbury Terry Pace pillaroffire@bellsouth.net
