On Monday March 10th, at 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Saving Time, Fahrenheit 451 will be added to the archives of THE Library in Alexandria, Egypt. This is being done as part of a commemoration of Julius Caesar having burned it is 38 A.D.
This is just another tribute to Mr. B and a book that will someday be as old as some of the manuscripts now archived in Alexandria.

F451 last month, and we will "finish off" Julius this week. This info will be shared with students. Thanks, jkt! Excellent anecdotal and literary allusions. Now, F451 stands alongside the Roman Empire! "Et tu, RB?"
Montag would be very pleased!

Congratulations to Ray for a very singular honor. What Ray foresaw in 1953 has come to pass and yet there is hope that we can see through the mirrors and save ourselves from the media machines before it is too late. I have always loved books, their smell, their feel and their ability to take me to places I would not have visited without them.
