It was a chilly Fahrenheit 65 out here in the VC today!

It's minus 3 degrees Celsius here in London today. The birds are sliding off the seed-feeder.

Los Angeles Magazine: Ray is on page 169 being quoted about L.A. of his youth along with a number of other people who grew-up in L.A.

It was 85 and sunny here yesterday and the pool at the main Club House was great. Sorry, but I just had to put my 2 cents worth in in regard to the weather.

As a native Floridian, I can assure you that I would never swap the UK for Florida! Call me an Anglophile. And Florida's not all they make it out to be, although South Florida's ok in the winter.

As a native Brit, I would give it more than a few minutes' consideration...

I visited the grandkids in Washington over Thanksgiving week.
I've been rehearsing like mad,and tonight will be the last of three Christmas concerts I'm singing with the Cabrillo Chorus!

My Mancunian wife is in England now and says they've had the coldest November on record!
Apparently, the Gulf Stream is misbehaving.

I can confirm Mrs Braling II's statement - and extend it to December as well! Mrs BII was lucky to get in, as we've had some airport closures due to the wrong kind of snow. [Fellow Brits will understand the latter phrase...]

Not to mention the wrong sort of frost for our Chritmas Brussel sprouts.

Braling II, wish we could be there to hear you flexing your tonsils. We're attending Handel's Messiah at St Paul's Cathedral this Wednesday. No admission fee and it's a 15- minute train journey away. We count our blessings.

Hope Mrs B doesn't get snowed under. She can watch the "Corrie" 50th anniversary extravaganza tonight. Remind her to bring home some PG Tips!
