| Yes, and now with the high-tech capabilities not available when Rod Steiger played the I.M., just think of the amazing special effects that could be applied in a redux. With body-decorations a big business (now-a-days), I would think in the right studio and promotors' hands, this classic RB would be a major success. (Any news releases on the SF Channel's plans for its oft suggested update?) On the big screen it could be produced with a lot "edgier" chase for the illustrating witch from the future included. "Matrix" or "Minority Report" cinemagraphic techniques could make things really interesting. The chosen illustrations would also need to be reconsidered. How about - Veldt, Rocketman, No Particular Night or Morning, The City, Kaleidoscope, and Zero Hour?

Maybe these are some of the old posts from the old board, imported here and therefore showing up as new posts. |
