Here's a list of the books Time Magazine reports that GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin worked to ban from her homettown library while Mayor and again, while Governor or Alaska. Below is a paragraph from this week’s Time magazine article on Sarah Palin:

“[Former Wasilla mayor] Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. “She asked the library how she could go about banning books,” he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them.

“The librarian was aghast.” The librarian, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn’t be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire her for not ‘giving full support’ to the mayor.”

Mary Ellen Baker resigned from her library director job in 1999.

It's just like I reported.

This woman's nuttier than I thought.

I'm not a Palin fan, but that list has been circulating on the internet for the past week. So far, there's no source to prove the list is legit. We know she wanted to ban books, but we don't know which books those were.

Until there is, it's speculation.

Perhaps, but to suggest banning any books points to an unstable mind.

The question might be: Has Palin read all of those books? If so, then she may have reasons to get rid of them. But let's get real, I doubt very much that she has read all of them. So now the question is, who's behind the scene feeding her information as to which books to get rid of and which to keep?

Well, the list is not confirmed as her list.

But according to the articles I've read, she wanted to ban certain books because her fundamentalist voters didn't like the foul language and certain themes.
