Here is a rare photo of the Dandelion Crater as named by the Apollo 15 crew. First seen from what was called Station 6 on Apollo 15's tour around the moon. Unfortunately, the trip to Front (Station 5) was cancelled so there are no close-up images of Dandelion. I'm working with Assoc. of Lunar and Planetary Observers to get a new photo. This is the best known image. For the original you may go to: http://history.nasa.gov/alsj/a15/a15.lsp257.jpg | |||
