I just read about this too. Is it true that Obama defunded NASA and directed them to fight global warming as a priority over exploring space? Because this would really be something of a setback to the Moon>Mars>Alpha Centauri idea that Bradbury has been toting for years. I hope I heard wrong.

It's a good thing Mr. Bradbury took us to Mars years ago. Sadly, our return to the Red Planet sure sounds to be in real jeopardy:

Neil Armstrong's comments are quite telling. He has previously remained quite aloof (ie. not setting an agenda or siding politically) since his flight home after stepping onto the moon's surface. However, his passion seems to have surfaced magnificently on this topic!
