There's an exciting new addition to the revered Best American series from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt: The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2015, to be published on October 6 under the Mariner Books imprint. The series editor is John Joseph Adams and the guest editor for this first volume is Joe Hill.

And now, the point: Joe Hill has written a quite lyrical introduction to the book which is as obviously influenced by Ray Bradbury as anything I've seen in a very long time.

Do read it! You can catch a preview in Google Books:

Sorry about that crazily long link—search for yourself if it doesn't work!

I see Hillstrom is his middle name. I wondered if he had named himself after the famous Joe Hill of the song.
