In today’s LA Times, Bernie Taupin, Elton John’s lyricist says, “The song Rocket Man is based on a Ray Bradbury story, “The Rocket Man,” and the idea that in the future, being an astronaut is like driving a cab. The analogy is supposed to be that it’s a 9 to 5 job.” Question was asked about what kind of astronaut works only five days a week. Nice
