Hi,
I came across this interview with Ray Bradbury in the Ventura County Life&Style magazine and thought it might be of some interest to the people here.

Here is a link to the scan I made of the article:

The article was great and so were the photos. Thanks for sharing. Most likely, I'd never have seen the article otherwise.

This has got to be one of the most introspective conversations I have ever read of Ray's thoughts and feelings. Wow!

Thank you as well rifraf for allowing the rest of us to be exposed to this fine interview.

Monday night I called Ray and my son Anthony was able to speak with him. I started off by saying that I was "Michael from Florida" and he said "You don't sound like Michael from Florida." And I replied that it was because I was calling from Minnesota.

My son asked him, since his 9 year-old son is an avid reader, which Bradbury book would he recommend a young reader to start with. His answer was Dandelion Wine so I am going to pick up a copy and send to Ray to autograph to my grandson Cameron.

Ray sounded great and I love his great sense of humor.

Biplane! Good to hear from you! And I like YOUR sense of humour! Great comeback about calling from Minnesota.

Thanks, rifraf. Great article. The black and white photos are artistic and moving.

rifraf,

thanks, that is an excellent interview. I've taken the liberty of linking to it on my website. I hope that's OK.

Hi,

I'm glad you all enjoyed the interview as much as I did. There's actually 3 or 4 more pages of pictures, including the cover. I'll scan and post them later.
Philnic, it's fine with me to link to it. The more people who are able to enjoy it the merrier!
