While visiting with my son I decided to stop and see if Ray was home. He was and he invited us in to visit. He and Marguerite had just returned from France two days before. While we there he received a telephone call from STan Freberg.

Good job, Michael. That was three years before we first met Ray. We met him for the first time in June 1999 in Boulder at a lecture at Chautauqua Auditorium. Just a few months later he suffered that terrible cerebral hemorrhage which would cripple his body but never his mind!

Who knew that a few years later we would be sitting in the Yellow House chatting him up?
