three years of Latin and rememeber little except for an old (yeah! it's got to be old!) Latin idiom
Tempus Fugit, sometimes seen inscribed at the top of Grandfather clocks, meaning Time, It Flies.

jktI used to have a Latin phrase on the masthead of my old Atari (don't laugh) Computer Club's newsletter. I've forgotten the phrase but it roughly translated to "Everybody Needs A Hobby."
