eagleeggNew Century Writers Awards
I recently discovered that I placed in the top ten of the New Century Writers Awards Short Story Contest, sponsored by Ray Bradbury. I have yet to be contacted by New Century, and my emails, faxes, and phone calls have all been ignored. Furthermore, I contacted other top ten winners and they have likewise been ignored. I had assumed that this was a respectable contest since Bradbury's name was attached. I noticed that New Century is accepting entries (money)for new contests, without settling with their old winners. Has anyone else dealt with New Century?

Nard Kordelleagleegg:
This may add a few more lines of info...
http://www.herbicide.scissorpress.com/ Strange, but the link is 'H'erbicide, for 'V'erbicide, as in Verbicide Magazine. But it says it IS 'Scissor Press', the place affiliated with New Century Writers.
Hmm ! It may be...that everyone is overwhelmed with a general backlog....
