mccool14Fire and Ice
I read a short story many years ago about people who lived only 3 days and were on a world that was too hot during the day and too cold at night. In this I found the best defense of scientific method I have ever read. I believe that the story was Fire and Ice and was by Bradbury. Can anyone confirm this and tell me where I could find it?

YestermorrowThe story is in fact "Fire and Ice" by Bradbury. You can find this story in "The Golden Apples of the Sun"

dandelionI know it's been published as "The Creatures that Time Forgot" and "Frost and Fire." I assumed "Fire and Ice" was another alternate title.

YestermorrowMy mistake. I had been reading Robert Frost's "Fire and Ice" when answering the question. I did indeed mean "Frost and Fire".
