I kind of agree with you, Translator, ESP. about that dress! I mean, that's just gross, keeping a stained dress around and not getting it cleaned. That's just icky!!!

While I love to run to the dictionary, this is a legal question, not a linguistic one. In the US, consent is not always sufficient grounds to remove a charge of a hostile work environment or sexual harrassment. In the case of Monica, she was consenting; but she was still a subordinate in the workplace.

Perhaps it's different in Canada, or perhaps I misinterpret it.

I think for me the real issue was whether that kind of behabiour is what the world really needs to see. America has been labeled as a place with no class. It is our responsibility to denounce such classless acts, especially when it comes to the leaders of our country.
