The Halloween Tree
I read this book when I was 15 and it was like a lightning bolt striking me. It is wildly imaginative, adventurous and fun but still very dark. There is light at the end of the tunnel but only as long as everyone involved is willing to make their own sacrifice. I was sold then on the escapism and amazement, starkness and colours, of the worlds of sci-fi, fantasy and horror.

Im 35 now and I do my own little bit of writing but to no avail. Anyway cheers Mr. B. for the world you opened up to me.
