Lucky
I am very lucky that my favorite writer is not only alive while I am, but still producing great works and influencing millions of readers. I had the opportunity to meet Ray while attending the Space Frontier Foundation annual conference in L.A. a few years ago, and he was as generous with his time as he is with his prose. When people ask me which writers influenced me while growing up, I always say I was weaned on Ray Bradbury and Rod Serling. Quite a combo!

Have a great day, Ray, and thank you for all you do.

Eyerishize:
What a great "name".

Have you read some of Ray's Irish stories? Surely you must have. If not, do so. He has also created several plays, including one called, Falling Upward.
When he wrote the screen play for Moby Dick, it was during his time in Ireland.

Ditto, about your above commends.
I have never seen Ray short on time with others. He quickly discerns if your honest with him. But he is most gracious in all situations...
