FH451 and the CRANKSHAFT Comic Strip
The CRANKSHAFT comic strip is currently making banned books a topic, with FAHRENHEIT 451, which is often the subject of such book bans, being front and center. Here is a link to the comic strip that appeared on August 30, 2024:

The CRANKSHAFT comic strip has continued over the past several days with its theme of banned books, with a fire being deliberately set to the fictional book shop carrying FH451. While Ray Bradbury's book has not been mentioned by name during this period, click on the link below to read today's strip, and take a look at the title of the book being held by the Crankshaft character (who in the comic strip did not learn to read until he was an adult):

Today's CRANKSHAFT comic strip can be accessed by clicking on the link below. And as Lillian, the character that owns the book shop that was burned for daring to carry a certain banned book, says, that book IS worth reading!
