Mr. DarkI (and, I'm sure, many others on this site) applaud your decision!
F451 is the book that converted me from a non-reading ninth-grader to a college professor with two masters degrees. It is literally the case that F451 is the book that converted me to a reader. The reading of this book is what got me reading everything else: religion, science fiction, fantasy, philosophy, theology, literature, biography, history, political science, etc. It all goes to a reading of F451.

dandelionAn amazing transformation indeed. Was it singer Kate Smith who said she never spoke a word till age 8 because "God was saving her voice"? Although the subject here is fantasy, truth can sometimes be as strange.

Just that! Somehow I skeeted onto this page...probably by being mistook for a Tolkien Hobbit. Hobbits go everywhere, did you know? Even to a Bradbury Site, evidently...
