In a past life I was an Atari computer beta tester and hobbiest. Two of the chips inside the computer were nicknamed Pokey and Gumby.

Ah, what a shame. She was such a wonderful woman from what I hear. "The Diary of a Young Girl" was one of the very first books I read way back when, and truly had an impact on the way I looked at life.

It is too bad she didn't live to be 101. She was so close.

Heroine and Angel, Miep Gies!

Diary of a Young Girl is the first book I assign for English Honors summer reading. A major theme in following composition addresses the qualities of character Miep Gies possessed and shared with those in the hidden annex. Knowing at all times, she was risking all for those she harbored. An amazing story!

Crime novelist Robert B. Parker has died at age 77. I am a huge fan of his Spenser, Jesse Stone and Sunny Randall novels, having read almost all of them. He will be sorely missed by mystery readers everywhere.

I have enjoyed Kate and Anna's music for years. Also the Wainwright's. So young.

So you're saying that you're forty-five years late in posting his demise.
