Ah, what a shame. She was such a wonderful woman from what I hear. "The Diary of a Young Girl" was one of the very first books I read way back when, and truly had an impact on the way I looked at life.

It is too bad she didn't live to be 101. She was so close.

Knowing at all times, she was risking all for those she harbored. An amazing story!

Crime novelist Robert B. Parker has died at age 77. I am a huge fan of his Spenser, Jesse Stone and Sunny Randall novels, having read almost all of them. He will be sorely missed by mystery readers everywhere.
