Bill KruegerCan't remember story title
I read a story many years ago and was reminded of it when I came across a classic science fiction stories book in the bookshelf this evening. I'm almost certain this was a Bradbury short story.
The setting was a futuristic state that was seemingly anti-meritocracy in nature. People with 20/20 vision were required to wear glasses that inhibited their vision. Fast people were required to carry around weights. Etc.
No guarantees that my memory is serving me well on this having been a Bradbury story, but I feel strongly it was. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
