I haven't posted anything in a while!!! Will Ray be signing books in the future? I live in the Los Angeles/Orange County area and would like to have my book signed!!! Thanks!!!
Ray's new book, Nightmares & Daydreams, is still at the publisher. Until then, I don't seen anything in the near future.

Hello:
Will Ray be doing any future book signings in the Orange County/Los Angeles areas in the near future?

Ray is not slated for any public appearances in the near future. His anthology of new and unpublished stories is still in the hands of the publisher. The release of which will determine the next public appearance event.

Hello, I was wondering if Mr. Bradbury is set to undoubtedly be going to any signings or book releases (or anywhere in specific) this year. I would really appreciate any details!! My boyfriend is actually a huge fan of Ray's and reads his book 'Dandelion Wine' about 5 times a year; he would most likely pass out at the thought of meeting such an influential person in his life. So I'm hoping I can find a time and a plane ticket and send him wherever Mr. Bradbury is!

My biggest dream is to see Ray Bradbury, I am his fan since the age of 15! I hope so much that he is still signing his books. Please write if you know something about his public appearance in 2012!

Jessica & Victoria,
as jkt posted (above), there are no signings currently planned. I suggest you check back here from time to time to see if there is any more news.
As for buying a plane ticket to see Mr B, I think any time you are counting on the good health of a nonagenarian you are taking a risk that they might have to cancel. If a signing is announced, you should plan a trip where seeing Mr B was a BONUS rather than the sole reason for the trip.
(In 2010, I wanted to attend Ray's 90th birthday celebrations in LA... which would necessitate crossing the Atlantic Ocean and the continent of North America... an expensive proposition which could have turned sour if Mr B had happened to catch a cold on the big day. So I planned a two week vacation in Las Vegas (always intended to go one day, so why not now? I thought), with a short side trip to see Ray if all turned out well. Which it did!)
On the afternoon of March 11th, the California Institute of Technology (CalTech) is showing Fahrenheit 451. On the evening of the 12th, Jon Eller (Institute for Bradbury Studies) will be giving a follow-up lecture. Not sure if Ray will be attending but it should be a good talk by Dr. Eller.
When I posted this before, that first link at the time took one to info about the Cal Tech Ray Bradbury event at which Jon Eller spoke of March 11 & 12, 2012, referred to in your previous post. Thank You.
