old Ray Bradbury Web site?
Does anybody know what happened to an old Bradbury Web site that was online for most of the 1990s but went down a couple years ago? The URL was
http://www.brookingsbook.com/bradbury/bradbury.htm

and it had lots of news, links to online interviews, and photos that fans had submitted. I'm sorry it no longer seems to exist.

Two guys were responsible for creating and maintaining it, Richard somebody and Chris Jepsen. I haven't been able to locate either of them.

You're thinking of "The Ray Bradbury Page." It's definitely gone now. However, even if its demise is recent, the site hadn't been updated since 1998.

And to think that the last old Bradbury website is still functioning. Is this here some sort of cell division?

David,

the old brokkingsbook.com website is still around but under a new address:
http://www.raybradburyonline.com

It's now run by somebody else, but hasn't changed much in recent years.

Meanwhile, Chris Jepsen opened a similar site which is here:
http://www.spaceagecity.com/bradbury/index.htm

...which also doesn't get much updating.

Of course, the best maintained Bradbury fan site is http://www.bradburymedia.co.uk - but modesty prevents me from discussing it...

In reference to Phil's RB site (you are too modest!) ~ "It's the Cat's Pajamas!"

I use it often when teaching a televised HS Distance Learning section. Thanks.

fjp451,
tell me more - what do you use it for, and how? If there are any enhancements I could make to make it more useful to you, I would be pleased to hear about it. (Email me if you think this might bore the other board members!)
