Chrisman43I caught that reference, too! I had to point it out to my wife, and I was delighted when my 10-year old daughter said, "Hey! Isn't that a book by Ray Bradbury?".

unknown88I caught that one too.Not the first time they ever used Bradbury in an episode though. They had their annual halloween episode 5 with an episode called "Time and Punishment" which is a great take on "The Sound of Thunder". Homer goes back in time, kills a mosquito and returns to find flanders is the ruler of the world. He winds up going back several more times. At one point he coughs and accidentally kills all the dinosaurs. classic phrase (Homer:"man, I'm going to pay for that one").
