Cutter20Did RB lift "Fahrenheit" from 18th century scientist?
I think he did!
According to Everything2.com, Gabriel Fahrenheit invented the mercury thermometer and introduced it in Holland in 1714. 98.6 F is avg healthy human temperature, 100 F is the healthy temperature of a cow's anus, 212 F is the boiling point of water, 451 F is when paper burns, and 911 F is waaaay hotter than paper.
We all base our artistic and scientific endeavors on the accomplishments of others that came before us.
