Riversidce or San Diego, CA are the two events that are closest to Arizona that I know of. One is the Mars event, spoken of elsewhere on this forum and the other would be ComicCon, in July. I believe Mr. B plans to attend there again this year.

Mr. Bradbury has officially signed up for Comicon, it's July 24-27.
