grasstainsRB To Be On SHOWTIME
SHOWTIME will be making "Dark they were and golden-eyed" into a one hour program. I think the link below is saying it's going to be the pilot episode to a new show called MASTERS OF SCI-FI.

Nard Kordellgrasstains: Wonder how long we're talking about before any of this gets onto the small screen...

Nard KordellNo, I braved clicking ont he link earlier. But I didn't see an exact date. That means Ray has been transforming his story into a screenplay. I heard nothing of it till now. I talked with Ray yesterday (or day before)...and said he was working on 4 books.

grasstainsMan...I gotta get cable T.V.
I just can't see paying $50.00 a month for it. Besides, with SCI-FI Channel, AMC, TURNER CLASSICS, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, and now this new thing on SHOWTIME I wouldn't get much sleep and certainly wouldn't get much reading done. Maybe a few years from now the DVD collection will be available. I'll have to settle for that.
If you see the show, or at least that one episode, could you comment on it?

Nard KordellI had Showtime. No longer. You're not missing much. Lots of boxing matches, movies...and lots of late night porn.

dandelionThanks for the heads-up. It might almost be worth subscribing to Showtime, but, for the very reasons for precautions Nard suggests, might be best to wait for the DVD which will probably be made of the program.
