The sound of summer running
I was reading this the other day and was wondering...

do you think Ray Bradbury relates the story with an event in his life? Is Douglas an alter ego of himself? Or was it just a completely creative story line?

Oh, didn't you know?

EVERYTHING Ray writes about is really about his life....

Douglas is Ray's middle name, too...

Green Town is Waukegan, Ilinois, his birthplace....

Many of his short stories are set in Waukegan...

In his story, 'The Wonderul Ice Cream Suit'...everyone of the characters are real people he knew...

In 'Something Wicked This Way Comes', many characters are people he really knew....

Mr. Electrico, from 'Something Wicked This Way Comes', really existed.

And then, how do you seperate the ingenious storylines, from the authors personal, all too intimate experiences of life...?

etc
