"For the Road"?
Though a longtime Bradbury reader, I'm new to this site - forgive me if this is old news.

I see that a new Bradbury novel, "One More for the Road: A New Story Collection" is due to be published in hardcover and audio in April. While something new from Bradbury is always a wonderful thing, the title sounds rather..."final". Does anyone know anything about this book or possible plans to retire? I see that Mr. Bradbury has several projects in the works, though I've not seen any mention of forthcoming books. I'm hoping the title is simply a reference to a story or theme within the collection!

The title is merely the title of one of the short stories in the collection. It's okay, I'm sure there is much more to come from Mr. Bradbury, who has stated that he will write until the day he dies.

It's not my favorite choice of title. Every time I see it, that '70s song starts to run through my head, which I have just learned is "Lido Shuffle" by Boz Scaggs. Being as "one more for the road" were almost the only words I understood from the song, it's not surprising I didn't know that. Hey, if "douglasSP" is Douglas Spaulding, are you Douglas Rodgers, or maybe Douglas from "The Man Upstairs"?
