Hello all,

The New Yorker ran a little item on the upcoming birthday party for Ray this Wednesday, August 22, at McNally Jackson books. It promises to be a very special event. I will be joined by Mort Castle, Joe Hill, and Alice Hoffman. Neil Gaiman will join us live via Skype and read his story from SHADOW SHOW. Dandelion Wine will be served. Ray's longtime friend and editor, Jennifer Brehl, will also join us. I hope you will, too.
