Switch on the Night
The BBC broadcast a reading/performance of Ray's children's story Switch on the Night on Christmas day. For the next six days you should be able to hear the show in the BBC website here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/whitenights/pip/7boaj/

I've posted some information about the story and the broadcast on my website, here: www.bradburymedia.co.uk

Philnic,

Thanks for posting that wonderful radio broadcast. Sheer poetry. I have an original copy of "Switch On The Night" that I prize.

Glad you liked it. Do you have the Madeleine Gekiere-illustrated edition, or the Dillons' one?

I have an old hard-cover edition illustrated by Madeleine Gekiere. I actually prefer Gekiere's drawings over the Dillons'.
