Ray Bradbury on Discovery Science
There was a programme called The Story of the Rock about the Mars meteorite that is thought to contain ancient fossilised bacteria. I was very interested in the two clips shown of Ray where he talked about how, in his opinion, life could not have originated accidentally from chemicals etc. In other words that there is something uniquely special about life and it's origin that cannot be explained by the random conjunction of materials, no matter how many millenia are involved. I am wondering if Ray has expanded on these ideas anywhere in print and if so where could I find it? Hope someone can help.
