I think the relationship between Montag and Clarisse is good. The reason why is because Clarisse is trying to make Montag a better person than he is now. One example is that Clarisse is trying to make Montag open minded by talking to him about books. This affect's Montag and Milred's relationship because Mildred is scared of having happy thoughts, getting caught, and of what people might think of her.
