fjpalumboI believe this is our very first post from Nigeria. A brilliant attempt to communicate across the language and cultural barriers.
Hummpf!
I hear some serious rumblings of discontent. If we close it down, who will take care of the bio-pods? Will this simply become another silent running?

Braling III think I've seen Huey, Dewey, and/or Louie waddling around here somewhere...

Chapter 31Yes, like Dewey, or an electrical something or other, like a grandmother that would busy itself keeping the place clean and orderly, out of respect.

Chapter 31Yes, its been a blustery day here in the NE. Lots of rain too. I looked out my window and saw a life raft on my lawn. I kid you not. Well, maybe it was some sort of snow tube, but it looked like a life raft. Now Id have to go out and move it. Snelfrocky. Well, I had errands to run anyway. Wouldnt it be fun I imagined if the raft was on some kind of journey, to find the big water maybe. Later, waiting in my car at a traffic light, through the wipers I saw a little girl of about six in her brightly colored rain gear being helped across the street by a traffic guard. After the girl was safely across I noticed the traffic guard pacing on her side of the street, obviously bored at not having anything to do at the moment and I wanted to pull a Saroyan and go over there and give her a big hug. But my courage failed me and I went about my business. Oh, those people in the background of our world that we seldom notice who do so much, firemen and firewomen, police, traffic guardsand teachers. Thoughts like those ran through my mind most of the afternoon. Eventually I made my way home wondering if the raft would still be there or if it had somehow continued on its way.
