As a follow-up to my posting relating to "The Parrot Who Met Papa" above, I thought that perhaps some folks might like to see the thank-you note, dated December of 1970, that Ray Bradbury sent to the editors at Playboy after they decided to purchase that short story for their magazine. I showed this note to Ray when he signed the manuscript for me. He had not seen it since he wrote it, many years earlier. He looked at it, smiled, and said quietly, "Well, I'll be damned."
