"Hollerbochen's Dilema" (1938) is the first published amatuer story, appearing in the fanzine Imagination. First professional story is "The Pendulum," (1941) written with Henry Hasse for Super Science Stories. Source: The Collected Stories of Ray Bradbury A Critical Edition Vol. 1 1938-1943 Edited by William F. Touponce and Jonathan R. Eller.

There was another amateur work, "The Death of Mr. McCarthy," presumably a short story, which appeared in Ray's school newspaper the same year as "Hollerbochen's Dilemma" and may have preceded it. I have bumped up a number of threads listing obscure stories in case anyone wants to peruse them.
