What Ray Bradbury story or stories would you recommend to a Bradbury fan who hasn’t read him in 10 years, would love a reread, but can’t think of a good starting point?
I own nearly all the books.

RichardWow! Mugnaini1, there are so many great Ray Bradbury stories, I hardly know where to begin. However, here are a few of my very favorites:
"The October Game"
"The Whole Town's Sleeping"
"All Summer in A Day"
"A Sound of Thunder"
"Mars Is Heaven"
"There Will Come Soft Rains"
That being said, I think it's safe to say that you won't go wrong by picking up and reading any Bradbury collection!

RichardI almost forgot another of my very favorite Bradbury stories..."The Pedestrian". It was based on an event which actually occurred, when Ray was stopped and questioned by the police when out for an evening stroll. And to hold you until you track down the printed version, here is a link to an animated version which I posted several years ago, and am re-posting for any newcomers to the Board. The gentleman out for a walk looks just like Ray!

LinnlRay Bradbury's book NOW AND FOREVER is one of my favorites. It pairs two novellas 'Somewhere A Band is Playing' and 'Leviathan'. Both are full of Bradbury's humor, wonderment, and affirmation of life. Seek out Paul Hecht's audio performance of this book, too.
