Speaking of inspirational, attached is a close-up of the Martian Flag given to Mr. B by the Planetary Society. It is proudly displayed in Ray’s dining room. This actual flag has been in space on a shuttle mission. A Martian flag will be on all future missions to Mars, be they unmanned or manned. The Planetary Society and NASA have put a stipulation that Ray let them borrow back this flag for when man first sets foot on Mars.

The Earth is in the lower left corner, Mars is represented in the middle with a star in the upper right. The symbolism is from the Earth to Mars and onward to the stars.

Ray will be hosting a fund raiser for the Planetary Society this Friday night at his play.
